It's been 3 or 4 years
Where do you see the band in 5 years?
Still in Paris hahaha, we're all really busy in this band and we have a really few time to search shows, so we're waiting for proposals. We'd like to tour across europe one day, but we're too lazy to organize it ourselves...
Is this the original lineup and if not what is the current lineup?
No, there was two other members of my last band Engine with us at the beginning. They left Days Of Discord after one year.
How many cds eps 7 inches or split cds has the band released?
We do not "release" CD's, we only record songs and put it on internet. We want people to listen to us and people don't buy cd's anymore...
When the band is on tour in the van what is usually playing in the cd player?
We got a German guitarist who speaks too loud so we can't listen to music...
Who are some of the bands main musical influences?
Regarding hardcore/metal: Terror, Sick of it all, Pantera, Champion and many many others in other styles.
How did the band come to be known as Days of Discord?
There's a lot of fucked up things nowadays and it seems that it's not gonna be better soon. And by the way, i'm a "this was better before" man, hahaha
What advice can you give to some of the newer bands just starting out that maybe having a rough time?
Play your songs, please yourself, be patient
What do you base your lyrics on when writing new material?
I used to write about mainstream hardcore themes (not enough time to write something else) but i'm trying to do something more personal today.
Are any members in side projects other than Days Of Discord?
Pat, our second guitarist plays in providence, an other Paris hardcore band.
The term hardcore is overused to the point that any type of band that has heavy riffs or a breakdown in a song is considered hardcore but what does the term mean to you?
Hardcore: Me, My friends, my music, things that happened in MY life, Anger and frustrations that i feel. It's an ego trip.
What is your favorite and least favorite city to play in?
We don't have favorite place. Only people counts.

Heyser, our first show partners... "our first date" haha
